Speciality floor coatings for the food sector
Physiological safety coupled with simultaneous high mechanical, chemical and thermic resilience are the most important prerequisites for suitability of floor coverings in the food industry.
Besides traditional epoxy resin and PMMA-based coatings, floor coatings on a polyurethane cement binder basis with ready-to-use special fillers meet the requirements mentioned above in many cases even better. These systems also cure without transferring odor or taste, so that renovations in food processing areas may well be performed during operation time.
